The Crucial Skill for Current Leaders, without Which They are Doomed

October 15, 2015

Blog Topic

When you consider the challenges facing all organisations today, there is no doubt that organisational agility, adaptability and resilience is essential if the organisation is to thrive.

That means the leadership must be agile, adaptable and resilient as well, if not firstly.

How to become more agile, adaptable and resilient then becomes the key question.

That agility, adaptability and resilience comes first from the mind – thought.

This is beyond emotional intelligence.

The leader must become mentally strong and supple, with stamina as well.

The clear pathway is through the skill of attitudinal competence – the ability to adopt and adapt one’s best attitude for what’s happening, has happened or mighty happen and not be stuck with habitual attitudes.

This skill is readily learnable and enables better choices of thinking and responding.

It overcomes the old stuck way of thinking; it addresses fear, habits and ignorance with courage, better practice and continuous learning.

Would you be willing to master your attitudinal competence?
