We forget the true value of many things these days.
Everything seems to be measured by its monetary value.
Monetising everything seems to be the driver for so many of us.
Yet money itself has no real value, it is merely representing value, if we accept the currency.
The true value is our honourable effort.
The service we give the produce we grow and the products we make.
Our honour in delivering our value – our effort – is the core value.
It is not the money we make nor the possessions we have.
Those haunted individuals who believe they are being honourable by making money from money are like fools making pretty shells from pretty shells, which preceded money.
Nothing has been added except the number of shells.
In the case of money it’s even worse, for every piece of money is a debt, since all money has been borrowed into existence.
We are waking up to this foolery.
We must wake up in a timely manner and respond with care and honour.
To go to war over money is as stupid as going to war over beliefs – yet many of us still do.
You will be remembered not for your money, shells or possessions but for your honour, your valuable effort.
