I was fortunate to have my employer engage the services of David who was working with the Executive Leadership Team. He was coaching each of the group leaders individually and was engaged with many of the senior leaders in the business where he focused on personal and professional development. David also conducted group strategy sessions where the focus was on how a group can achieve more co-creatively. This was proven in action, to have more meaning and therefore better results, which also helped people get out of their own silo and into the group organisation. David is a dab hand at getting to know a person on a deep level. He understands each person’s individual needs and is respectful of how a person needs to be coached. People can often get lost in their day-to-day agenda’s and when you are out of the weed’s and in David’s care, he helps you find the answers that you have deep down. Never once have I been with David and been told what to do. Very often have I been with David where I have found deep down the answers of what needs to be done and with some refinement through our discussion, I have left our meeting focussed and refreshed. David has helped build on my pre-existing skills, considering my personal complexities, and helped me package my problems at any given time, in a way that has given me confidence to act. His techniques help bring clarity! He has particularly helped with the problems that go with managing difficult people that have all resulted in positive outcomes. His expertise in this regard has been invaluable. I have had some personal and professional difficulties in recent years around anxiety and stress and this has led to a fear of making decisions in some cases, but second guessing the decisions you do make in others. He has helped me find the answers I need for my decisions and helped build the confidence needed to act. A year ago, I would walk into a meeting room, nervous and in fear of public speaking. David has changed that one year on and I walk into Executive meetings, prepared, and assured and this has been the best experience I could have asked for. Our values are totally aligned with the mastery of attitudes and behaviours however David’s ability to deal with awkward customers is second to none. He has helped me go deep and really drill down on my own attitudes. We have worked through stress status and how I react in these situations and what I could do differently and how. I have a far better understanding of me, than I did before, and this will keep me in step for the rest of my career. David would add significant value to any organisation that wants to develop its leadership culture, business practice and performance. He can go deep in his analysis to get to the core of problems and identify the opportunities for growth. David is highly skilled and will help develop a business based on strong attitudinal competence, developing the right leadership behaviours, team building and creation of business strategies. David handed me a copy of ‘Master the Power of Your Attitudes’ (MPOYA) just over a year ago. This was a time when my attitudes were largely unquestioned, deeply entrenched and often unhealthy. As I worked through MPOYA, I was encouraged to scrutinise these attitudes, often in excruciating detail. It was a lengthy and confronting process; but this should not deter you. After all, rewiring the habits of the mind is no easy undertaking. If you decide to embark on the journey that is MPOYA, you should not do so without full commitment.
