The High Value of Having an Executive Coach or Mentor

The closer you get to the top, the lonelier it gets. Tough decisions that no-one else wants to make are left to you. All mistakes, errors, and losses fall at your feet. And you give the glory of winning to your people.

There are often no other people in the business with whom you can share your deepest concerns.

You know there are areas of your professional life and work that you’d like to improve.

Then there’s the challenge of finding the time and with whom to work on those areas.

The right coach, or mentor, who can listen carefully, ask the right questions, offer some useful suggestions without stipulation, make time for you whether in person, via phone or video, and who has already experienced what you are going through, is the person you could make a priority to find.

Coaching and mentoring is not about fixing or remedying – it’s about enhancing and mastery – the stuff of champions. All champions have coaches.

The return on investment, not just financially but also in terms of peace of mind and space to breathe, is well worth the effort in finding such a person.

Have you located the right coach for you?

What did you do to locate that person?

Share your thoughts and spread the value to your fellows.

If you would like to discover why and how to choose the right executive coach for you, here is my complimentary guide to doing just that, without any obligation.
