Yes it has a multiple meaning, start right; start again but right; and now.
Why? Because you can, and yesterday is past, tomorrow never comes, but now is always here. And because you must succeed.
That means you must review the reality of what’s happening and why that is so.
You must face up to what’s working and what’s not working.
Then you must think, plan and act.
So where do you start?
By looking in the mirror.
Not criticising yourself, but getting crystal clarity about your mission and your values.
Without those two crucial elements, you have no foundation to build upon.
When you are absolutely clear about those two, then you have the foundation to create the culture, the glue that makes it all work much better.
Then all you have to do is to focus on the mission whilst living the values in your thoughts words and deeds. And everyone else will follow your example.
You know, it all rolls down from the top. And that’s you.
That takes care of the heavy lifting and when you aren’t there.
The rest, providing it is consistent with the mission and the values, will be implemented and executed far more readily.
